Let’s get you unstuck.
tiger.mom runs on iPhone with iOS 26 or later. Find an answer below, or email us in English, German, or Japanese.

My apps aren’t blocking
Open tiger.mom and check Screen Time permission in the Settings tab. Open your app group, select apps with Apple’s picker, and check the daily limit. Only time spent using the selected apps counts. The screen must be on; leaving an app in the background is not enough.
iOS delivers the threshold event, so the shield can appear after the limit rather than at the exact second. Keep using the selected app a little longer. If it still doesn’t block, contact us with the steps you tried.
How do I return from a blocked app?
The shield button closes the blocked app and requests a notification. Tap that notification to open tiger.mom. If notifications are off, delayed, or hidden by Focus, open tiger.mom from your Home Screen instead.
What’s the difference between Free and Pro?
Free lets you declare which goals you worked on before unlocking. Pro asks for proof and reviews it with AI, and includes connected proof sources and additional goal and blocking controls. The Pro screen explains what is included before you subscribe.
My proof wasn’t accepted
Read tiger.mom’s reply and add the evidence she asks for. Choose proof that clearly shows effort toward your goal. You can follow up in the same conversation. AI can make mistakes; a request for more proof is different from a connection error.
Cloud AI and manual check-in
This release uses Google Gemini for AI review. You need to sign in with Apple and separately allow Cloud AI. Buying Pro or granting Apple Health permission does not grant Cloud AI permission.
You can revoke Cloud AI from the Settings tab. When AI review is unavailable because you are signed out or haven’t allowed Cloud AI, the proof screen offers manual check-in. Select the goals you completed and use the manual unlock control. Your goal requirements and any hard daily ceiling still apply.
For urgent access, you can withdraw tiger.mom’s Screen Time access in your iPhone’s Settings. This stops its blocking protection. If you do this, grant permission again and check your app groups when you are ready to resume.
Purchases, restore, and cancellation
Pro is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Your local price and any eligible trial appear before Apple confirms payment. Both plans provide the same Pro features. A tiger.mom account is not required to buy or restore Pro.
If an existing purchase is missing, open the Pro screen and choose Restore purchases while signed in to the Apple Account used to buy it. For plan changes or cancellation, use Manage subscription in the Settings tab or Apple’s subscription settings.
Deleting tiger.mom or your tiger.mom account does not cancel your Apple subscription. For a refund request, visit Apple’s Report a Problem.
Account and data deletion
Open the Settings tab, choose Delete account, and follow the confirmation steps. This deletes your tiger.mom account and associated server data. Contact hi@tiger.mom if you can’t access your account or need help with a privacy request.
See our Privacy Policy for data use and retention, and Apple’s Standard Terms of Use for the app license.
